Public Announcement of Referral Period*
Rice C.I.S.D. is now accepting referrals for students who may need Gifted/Talented Services for the school year. This program is designed for students who exhibit intellectual and creative thinking abilities at an extraordinary level not normally served in the regular classroom. Services are provided only upon identification of education needs of the student. Anyone wishing to refer a student attending RICE C.I.S.D. in Kindergarten through twelfth grade this school year is asked to go by the student’s campus office and request a copy of the referral form. This form must be returned to the school by October 30, 2024. Those unable to go to the school should call 979-234-3531 to request a form be sent to them.

Rice C.I.S.D. ahora acepta referencias para estudiantes que puedan necesitar servicios para superdotados/talentosos durante el año escolar. Este programa está diseñado para estudiantes que exhiben habilidades de pensamiento intelectual y creativo a un nivel extraordinario que normalmente no se ofrece en el aula regular. Los servicios se brindan únicamente tras la identificación de las necesidades educativas del estudiante. Cualquiera que desee recomendar a un estudiante que asiste a RICE C.I.S.D. Desde jardín de infantes hasta duodécimo grado este año escolar se le pide que vaya a la oficina del campus del estudiante y solicite una copia del formulario de remisión. Este formulario debe devolverse a la escuela antes del 30 de Octubre de 2024. Aquellos que no puedan asistir a la escuela deben llamar al 979-234-3531 para solicitar que se les envíe un formulario.
